We can't wait to host Democratic delegates from across the globe to the 1st Congressional District's backyard! Much more information will be available in the months ahead, so check back often for the latest news.
Here's what we know so far
DATES: July 13-16, 2020
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI and the surrounding areas
DELEGATES: Each state party forms their own delegate selection plan; please check with your individual state party for more information. The proposed Wisconsin delegate selection plan is available here. The 1st CD is allowed three male-identified delegates, three female-identified delegates, and zero alternates.
VOLUNTEERS: Yes, please! reports estimate we will need 12,000 dedicated volunteers for a successful Convention. Sign up to be a volunteer here.
COSTS: Costs vary greatly, and individual delegates are responsible for their own costs for transportation, hotel, food and incidentals. Many past delegates have crowdfunded their trip to Convention, and many choose to share rooms with fellow state delegates to share costs.
